I'm 23 years old and recently I lost a lot of money in crypto-currencies. I want to talk about my experience over the past 7 years, about everything influenced my decisions in all spheres of life, including financial. I hope this will help you avoid my mistakes.
Plan for the next few posts.
- Introduction.
- My acquaintance with mining (2011-2012 year).
- My first and very strong love (2013 year).
After a while I plan to talk about using my trading strategies "corridor bidding" and "arbitrage"
Introduction
As you can see, the photo to this post was taken from the cover of the book "Flowers for Algernon". It seems to me that way I felt about 7 years ago.
I was born and live in Kiev, Ukraine. Not that our country is poor, but not very rich. Today, the average salary in our region is around $ 300 per month, but prices are significantly lower for consumer goods and products in comparison with other countries. So everything is not so bad. But for traveling to another country, in which high prices, saving money takes a very long time.
It was approximately 2010-2011. At that time I led an infantile, carefree life. I just finished school and went to college for a specialty programming. The college in Ukraine is not considered a university, the university level of academic knowledge is much higher.
In college I studied very badly, I did not like anything. I began to think that I had entered the wrong profession. Over time, the situation only got worse, and my friends and I started playing computer games. Games like WOW (World of Warcraft) and LOL (League of Legends).
For all this time from 2010 to 2017 I spent a lot of time on games. A word of honor! At least 4 years passed forever. Gosh, we played all the time! Every day I played with friends until the morning! I hardly studied. Over time, I got worse and I was more and more disappointed in life.
My parents never understood me, they grew up in Soviet society. Their type of worldview is very different from the people who grew up in the Internet. We constantly quarreled with our parents and this caused even greater stress.
The relationship between me and my classmates also left much to be desired. And attention from the opposite sex was not at all. I had to do something.
Everything went to the fact that a little bit more and I will break. There will be something terrible, or I'll start to climb up. Yes ... I often thought about suicide.
Why did I decide to mention all this? I think at that time my future was born. It seems to me that only when you are at the bottom you will be able to move upwards.
Thought: Until you feel so bad that you can not stand it all, there will not be a turn up. Only when you feel completely defective, you generate in yourself a certain strength - resistance, which forces you to finally arrange a revolution for yourself.
