(EN/SP) La Negacion: Barrera Psicologica ante La Catastrofe, Terremoto Review

Recently, a rather peculiar phenomenon occurred on the Hive platform, something really strange and negative, we witnessed the aftermath of an earthquake, and for two days it was almost as if nothing had happened 😐😐.... This isn’t right, but beyond the negative aspects of the ecosystem’s weak initial response.
The main focus of this review is to try to offer a possible explanation for that apathetic behavior among the majority of Venezuelans and Latin Americans in the face of a natural disaster that affected their own people.
One possible explanation, which may apply to a significant number of social media users in hive who continued posting as if nothing had happened, is Denial, rejecting what happened in the real world by erecting a psychological barrier to avoid emotional stress and keep the mind in a safe zone, a zone that tells the brain that the earthquake happened to others, so it has nothing to do with me.
Recientemente sucedio en la plataforma hive un fenomeno bastante peculiar, algo super extraño y negativo, fue el hecho de que vimos las secuelas de un terremoto y por dos dias fue casi como si no fuese pasado nada 😐😐.... esto no esta bien pero mas alla de lo negativo en la respuesta inicial debil del ecosistema.
El enfoque principal de esta reseña es tratar de dar una posible respuesta a ese comportamiento apatico de la masa de venezolanos y latinos ante un fenomeno natural que afecto a su propia gente.
Una posible respuesta, que puede ser valida para una buena cantidad de hivers que siguieron publicando como si nada, es La Negacion, el rechazar lo sucedido en el mundo real colocando una barrera psicologica para evitar el estres emocional y mantener a la mente en una zona segura, una zona que le indica al cerebro que ese terremoto le sucedio a otros asi que nada tienen que ver conmigo.

I want to emphasize that, from my perspective, I noticed that two days after the event, almost no one mentioned it.... That’s way too long without a reaction. I say “almost” because there were some strong minded Hivers who expressed their emotions, feelings, and experiences almost immediately, which I think is the right thing to do, since they spoke with a positive outlook on the phenomenon we were experiencing.... but there were very few of them.
I think the denial of what happened cast a “Teletubbies-like” cloud over the vast majority of weak-minded Hivers, allowing them to continue seeing a rainbow-colored world where everything is fine. That mental barrier crumbled as the days passed, confirming that the catastrophe is real and that it had a massive impact on many people.
I believe these barriers of denial must be broken down so that Hive can fully fulfill its role as a social network and accurately reflect the real-world experiences of people.

Hago enfasis en que desde mi perspectiva note dos dias luego del evento en los que casi nadie lo menciono.... esto es demasiado tiempo sin reaccion, digo casi porque si hubo hivers de mente fuerte que manifestaron sus emociones, sentimientos y vivencias casi que de inmediato, lo cual considero es lo correcto ya que se expresaron con un enfoque positivo hacia el fenomeno que se estaba viviendo.... pero fueron muy pocos.
Pienso La Negacion ante el fenomeno sucedido coloco una Nube Teletubbietesca en la gran mayoria de hivers debiles de mente para seguir viendo un mundo de arcoiris en el que todo esta bien, esa barrera mental se derrumbo con el pasar de los dias y confirmar que la catastrofe es real y que afecto en gran magnitud a muchas personas.
Considero esas Barreras de Negacion se deben derrumbar para que asi hive cumpla su funcion de red social plenamente para hacerse eco de la red real de lo que estan viviendo las personas.
