A Happy mommy!
Hi, I want to share my joy with you. Today was the first time my child decided to use the potty. It sounds dumb, corny and whatnot but it really made me happy because I have been struggling for months to get them to sit on it even for a moment.
My son had no interest in it, but something had clearly changed today. Apparently he felt bigger and wished he could stay on his own was able to do the job.
I thought about the things I have enjoyed as a parent.
- I'm glad when the kid sleeps at least 6 hours in the evening.
- I rejoice when I have been able to get him to eat or try a new food.
- I rejoice when I see him being strong and moving different furniture around the apartment...like his big wooden chair or his baby bed that he will soon be parting with.
- I am happy when he laughs because I can see he is happy
It doesn't take much to make a person happy. I need a little, even if it's a full potty...
