Cooperate greed looks like profit but it's total destruction

Cooperate greed might look like it benefits the cooperation but in the long run it almost always ends up ruining everything.

Some Shrinkflations are meant to keep the company operational, probably because of scarcity in the raw materials used to make their products but a lot of them practice Shrinkflation because of greed and desire for more money. Probably an owner somewhere spent all his money and not wants to milk the company for every dime so ends up reducing product size and even quality just to make more. The guts to increase the price after reducing quantity, I'll never know where they get it from and the only thing I can point to is greed.

This video is just the perfect example of cooperate greed. They could have done a little better they chose not to.

It doesn't just affect candies and cookies, service systems also do this.

Yesterday, I found myself at my bank looking at their computer screen, there was another fee for account maintenance, and the level of service provided by my bank seems to have dropped even further. In fact, the air conditioning was broken and all that money that they get, can't fix an AC. I was incredibly disappointed. I think the only reason this company could justify taking more of my money was that they believe all of us are locked in to their services.

As companies expand their ambitions and desire for profits, these companies start to see their customers as merely numbers in their books. I say this because recently I bought a bag of flour from one of the suppliers that I have used for many years. The cost of flour has gone up, yet the bag of flour I received was a smaller size, when I weighed the bag at home, my scales were correct. The weight that the company advertised was actually less than what I weighed the bag at home. I’m not sure if it was a mistake, but it did call into question the honesty of this company's advertising.

A company that has an unhealthy obsession with profits will eventually be put out of business as it will have laid off many of its most productive employees and replaced them with tired, overworked employees who treat customers poorly. I have seen bank managers screaming at their employees for making an honest mistake, the manager looks very unprofessional screaming at a teller in front of a waiting line. When a company’s primary focus for running their operation is to provide maximum profits, that company will lose the loyalty of their employees and customers who have supported them over the years.

The companies probably believe that by posting higher numbers in their recent financial reports, they are doing well in the future. But if a company loses their customers’ trust, it is extremely difficult for them to regain that trust. Once I notice that I have been cheated by a company, initiate my backup plan to stop paying for anything they have.
