I do not think I have mentioned it here on Steemit but I am a certified cheese lover. Actually, I love dairy in general. But cheese is something I usually crave for almost every day, including the days I do water fasting. So today, being the 15th of the month when I celebrate my monthsary on Steemit, I wanted to go on a cheesy food trip for my 5th Steemit month.
Since today was declared a Philippine holiday for the end of Ramadan, most of my friends did not have work and decided to meet up. I have work though because my work does not have holidays. I was however able to simply squeeze the meetup in my work schedule so I could go with them.
We were first planning to go to museums. But because it was a holiday, most museums were closed. Also, since it has been raining a lot recently, it was better to just go somewhere indoors. We decided to go to a mall nearby where there were a lot of things we could do. The main reason was because I have been craving to try this sought-for cheese fondue pictured above. Most of the friends I went with were also cheese lovers so it was meant to be. These are some pictures there:
It took us about 3 hours eating and chatting that we were too full afterwards. I still craved for more cheese so I bought some mozzarella bites for snack. And for dessert, I had to get some cake for my 5th monthsary. There is no other cake but cheesecake, of course.
It was a lot of fun catching up with friends and doing a cheese food trip but I had to leave to get back to work. Back to work as well on this blog, here is my Steemit table to see my progress on Steemit:
