It is said that there is time for everything which includes the weather as well and as we all know how things are during every season as we have experienced before. I love both weathers and they have their usefulness to human existence.
The dry season is good for some people for many reasons, I have a friend who doesn't like the rainy season at all because she always falls sick a lot during that time and once it is dry season she will feel better. She prefers the dry season which is the opposite for some set of people who can't cope with the heat, dryness, and even dust.
If I could choose any season permanently, I would choose the dry season over the rainy season. The dry season will give people the privilege to do a lot of things than during the rainy season.
In my area, we don't have a good road. The roads are so bad and it makes transportation very difficult for people.
During the dry season business always moves faster even though things might be a little bit costly, people will purchase them. My job is the type that is affected by the season, things work better during that period.
The rainy season is good and very important as well, simply because during the rainy season the weather is always cool and who doesn't like cool weather?
Farmers are happy because crops grow faster and the ground will be fruitful as well.
During the rainy season, food is always surplus because the more it rains the more crops grow and things will be very cheap in the market. Unlike the dry season, things will be costly because the little that manages to grow won't be enough for everyone.
I will choose the dry season because once rain starts, some areas will be affected by erosion, and electricity won't be stable for us to use and aside from that, transport fares will increase since we don't have enough good roads.
During the rainy season, we don't enjoy light in my area because of our bad transformer and electricity won't be stable because the NEPA in charge of the transformer will be worried that the rain might affect the light so they won't give us light. Last year when the rain poured continuously for days, the transformer in my area got affected and we didn't use light for weeks NEPA didn't come to check, they were saying they couldn't operate inside the rain.
Aside from food that will be less during the rainy season and the cool weather, there are no other things that I love about the rainy season. During the rainy season, most people complain that sales are reduced and I am not exceptional because I don't make enough sales when the rain starts and I also spend much on transportation during that time because of the bad road.
Let's just say I love both the rainy and dry season but still I will choose the dry season for the sake of my business, I spend less on transportation when it is dry season and business move faster as well. While the rain reduce sales and increase transport fee for me.
