One thing about reality shopping is that what you are buying is real and you can check your package before paying for it. You can decide not to buy if you don't like what you are seeing after properly checking but it's a different scenario with online shopping.
Online shopping is like shopping in the dark, you only see the picture of what you ordered meanwhile you can get something other than what you ordered when the package is been delivered to you.
Don't get me wrong I love shopping online because I don't have to stress myself to the market, all I just need to do is to pay for the goods and the delivery fee, and my goods will be delivered to my doorstep but I stopped buying online stuff when I got something different from what I ordered for.
My online shopping experience
I shop online based on what I heard about how good online shopping was so I wanted to give it a try. I ordered an Android phone on a platform called jumia, if you are from Nigeria you will be very familiar with that name.
I got the phone and I love it but after 3 months the phone went off by itself and I wasn't able to on it back so I took to an engineer to check what happened to the phone and the first thing he asked me was where I bought the phone and I told him it was online then he smiled and said; what I order vs what I got.
I don't understand what that statement meant then and I never bother to ask but he didn't get the spare parts of the phone so it was impossible for him to get it fixed.
Another horrible experience from online shopping was when I needed a small phone to make calls while my Android will serve just for my online activities. I was too busy to go to the market to check out what I want so I had to shop online.
I selected a bontel phone because someone told me that the battery do last very well so I choose it without a doubt.
Sometimes what they will deliver might not be good but someone once told me that it's not their fault, that it is what they brought to them they will sell so I overlook all the bad items I have bought from them hoping that the small phone won't be like the other one I got.

But this time I don't really have enough money to buy the phone so I had to borrow it from my sister to get the phone.
The phone was delivered, and I was happy but after 3 days, the phone torch light just stopped working for no reason.
At first, I didn't notice that the torch light isn't working anymore but there was a night I wanted to use it and that was when I realized that the torch is not working anymore.
Immediately I dropped a message on the app so that they will address the issue in the morning but I was surprised that they didn't reply me and when I call their customer service number it wasn't reachable, who does that? And you want me to still keep buying from such stores? No that will never happen again.
My real life shopping experience
Yeah, I have bought a phone in real life that stopped working as well but I was able to return it to where I got it from and I got my money back.
That's a very good difference between online shopping and reality shopping because I didn't get back money from the online store and no reply on how to address the issue so I prefer real life shopping than online shopping.
