I have always loved holiday right from childhood due to many reasons. School periods are always too strict because my mom usually doesn't allow us to play except during the holidays so once we finish exams back then, I and my siblings are always very excited.
Waking up very early to do house chores and reading books when school is on can be very stressful. Whenever exam is around the corner, I do feel happy since the holiday is coming but it is compulsory I pass my exams if I want to have a pleasant holiday.
I love fun and enjoyment, I don't have a pinch of interest in anything that will stress me.
As an adult I still love holidays I don't know why maybe am used to how I do feel when I was little. Once the holiday is approaching, I am happy to take a break from work when it is compulsory since I worked in a factory, not every holiday is compulsory as a factory worker and that's the juicy part about it.
I get the time to rest if the holiday is compulsory and on the other hand, the holiday is marked as overtime and we get double payment for doing overtime.
When holidays aren't compulsory, I work all through the holiday because I get to earn twice my wages every day till the end of the holiday.
After I became a boss of myself, I started thinking that my middle name should be changed to holiday because every holiday comes in my favor for me. As an adult, holidays have been an opportunity for me to earn more money.
I mentioned earlier about getting double payment during my days as a factory worker and now, I get to enjoy the holiday even better than then.
The holidays are inspired by one celebration or the other and somehow, holidays also result in celebrations like marriage, housewarming parties, and many others.
People take advantage of the holidays to do and also attend events so as a hairdresser, I get to work a lot during the holidays.
Speaking of returning to work, I didn't stop working. I work during the holiday and always take a break probably 1 or 2 weeks after the holidays and during this time I don't feel comfortable at home.
I use to feel like someone is waiting for me at the shop to make hair, I don't know why I feel that way but I just can't wait to get back to work and make more money. I like money you can say that but what can someone possibly do without money?
When the holiday is over the rate at which hairstylist works will definitely reduce because people will be busy working instead of planning how to look good.
Let's just say I am the type that loves holidays and can't wait to get back to work. I stand in between because of the nature of my work.
