In this day and age, whatever you do, there is always pressure, whether it's work, study or household responsibilities, which sometimes makes you stressed and you fall ill, which makes you need to rest and take time off. There are some people who use leave days for holidays abroad to please their minds and get rid of all the mental burdens that have accumulated, and there are some people who take leave to stay at home with their family and do their work at home.
Can taking leave relax tense muscles and nerves and relax the mind? Yes, I think it can because when people take leave, they will get rid of all their thoughts about work burdens and beautiful views and then they can get rid of all the burdens on their minds, even though the problem will not be resolved without being worked on and resolved, the space of thought and burdens that are in a person's mind will disappear by seeing beauty and experiencing high pleasure.
I work 30 days a month, there is no holiday or leave in my life, starting from the morning I rush to work at the community health center as a health care worker. At 12:30 PM, I return home for lunch and prayer. Around 2:00 PM, I go to my business. My business is an independent health care practice. Here, I serve patients who come to my practice. This practice is managed by me and is my source of income. At dusk, I return home to shower and have dinner around 7:30 PM. I go back to my business and continue serving until 10:30 PM. Sometimes I get very tired when there are many patients coming for treatment. After closing, I go home to rest and sleep.
Every day passes like this, and I always carry out my activities as usual. Saturdays and Sundays are off work, but I use those days to work in the fields and rice paddies. However, my pharmacy remains open as usual, there are no holidays because for me, time is money, and I always strive for targets, without holidays or leave. Eventually, my wife complains that I have no time for my family. I realize how much burden has piled on my mind and how much mental stress I have.
After thinking about the never-ending burden of work, and if happiness had disappeared, what was the point of life? I realized that it wasn't just material things they needed; togetherness was also crucial. So, I took the initiative to take one day a week for my family instead of taking leave. On Sundays, I focused on making them happy. I didn't work or run a business, just focused on relieving the burden of work and making the people I loved happy.
After a few months of practicing this, I felt my life had become more meaningful. Now I'm starting to miss and always look forward to Sundays. A day free from the burden of work, I feel refreshed and able to start the next day with enthusiasm. I'm grateful I quickly realized this and was able to overcome it. Sometimes, it's true that meditation therapy is very beneficial for mental and spiritual health. You don't need to spend a lot of money; just travel nearby. There are tourist attractions in each of our areas. Happiness is simple, it doesn't need to be extravagant.
I used to think that the more time we put into our work, the more income we would earn. I was wrong, because our sustenance is predetermined, and our measure will not increase because we work hard, nor will our measure decrease because we work less. Instead, we only chase and accumulate wealth without enjoying it, which makes us feel constantly limited. The reason I say this is because I was like that too. That's my post for today, see you later.
