Great Minds,
Last time I made a post about my first harvest from my farm and the subsequent harvest I got. So I decided to processed some of the cassava into Tapioca. I will briefly explain how I went about the tapioca stuff.

THE PROCESS OF MAKING TAPIOCA

tapioca is one of the food gotten from cassava tubers. I do enjoy it as a food but never tried making it myself so with this harvest I decided to make it. Well I am going to make the various food varieties gotten from cassava. I am starting with tapioca. This is how it goes;
Step 1
Peeling of the cassava. Here you remove the peels from the cassava and wash it to make it clean. Usually you first cut it into halves for easy handling during peeling.

Step 2
This is the cooking stage. After peeling and washing. The cassava is put in a pot and boiled for say 10 to 15 minutes. After which you bring it down.

Step 3
Slicing of the boiled cassava into pieces called the tapioca. after slicing, you put them into a basin and add water over it. Allow it to stay overnight and the tapioca is ready for meal.

Tapioca is eaten with groundnut, coconut or any other food like fish etc.
It can last for a week or more in the house, all you need to do is change the water every morning and you are good to go.

Live sweet and enjoy life
