Enku woke up from her dream, again she had dreamt of this man who kept appearing to her in her dreams, she could not understand it because he did not look like any man she knew from her taribalwi clan. He was tall and fair too light skinned like the morning dawn if not too fair, his eyes were a strange blue color unlike hers that was brown and he kept looking at her strangely, just then she heard her mother call her, it was time to go and get water from the stream so her mother can prepare the meal for the day.
Enku reluctantly stood up from the floor where she slept, smiling about the strange man from her dreams, secretly she was beginning to enjoy her dreams,it was the only way she could explore the other world she often heard about when the elders gathered to discuss.
He was walking towards his battered pickup truck, his long strides were slow because he was deep in thought about the dark skinned lady in his dreams, she wasn’t exactly beautiful but she appealed to him in an uncomfortable way,she was calm very different from the ladies he was used too,her skin was as brown as the coffee he took her eyes so brown he wondered if she could see colours as he did clearly.
What bothered Lachlan was the way they strangely connected in his dreams, dreams he had been having for quite some time, he even went to see the local doctor for fear of being hypnotized, but the brown lady never left his dreams..
Every time he shut his eyes to sleep at night she was there beckoning on him to come.
Then he heard Amber call out to him forcing him to stir away from his thoughts, Amber seemed very intrigued by him.He had noticed the way she flirted with him but he didn’t like red heads like her, they were too stubborn so the tales went..
He preferred his women blonde, less stressful and easy to please. He waved at her and zoomed off in his truck.

Lachlan went about his normal duties, once in a while his thoughts wandered about the brown skinned lady from his dreams, hoping that he would meet her and that she was as real as she was in his dreams
