Hi, guys!
I continue to spend a huge amount of time working on the text, and it keeps expanding at an alarming rate. At this pace, I’m churning out what is essentially a book draft every few weeks—the speed is tremendous, and my universe is growing rapidly. And I absolutely love it. I can’t wait to see how it all looks once I’ve finished the entire series. For some reason, I’m confident I’ll get published. I feel the series concept is simply brilliant, and everything should work out. I do have some concerns about the editing process—it’s going to take a long time—but that’s unavoidable; I’ll have to put in the effort, as there is so much that requires detailed refinement.
So, I’m bracing myself for a long, seemingly endless haul, but the series itself is growing rapidly in my hands, and that’s wonderful in its own right. Very soon, I’ll have the actual book drafts, and that’s the most important thing. Right now, I’m building up volume—which is great—so that later I’ll have substantial layers of text to work with. In the meantime, the universe just keeps expanding, providing food for thought and material for future work. So, for now, I’m focusing on quantity; later, I’ll be able to turn that into quality.
It’s fascinating to unfold the plot in various directions; the world is filling up with interesting details that can be put to creative use. We’ll see how it all turns out in the end. I’m really eager to see what my books will look like when they’re finished.
For now, I’m just working on expanding the scope, and we’ll see where it leads.
