Hello, I saw this initiative by 
Freedom of speech is the ability to express ones’ ideas or feelings via spoken words with no fear. Freedom of speech is the fundamental right every human should have in their respective environment or society.
Speech itself is a form of communication from one person to another. And it is the only way for one to fully express feeling. I believe that freedom of speech is essential for everybody. Everybody should have the right to express his or herself in any way. A system that does not give humans the privileged to speak freely is bad.
An instance, looking at the Nigerian government, most people are not satisfied with the outcome and happenings politically from the government which on a normal basis the masses are supposed to express themselves. But as at now, the President has decided to put in place social media bills to indirectly prevent citizens from saying their minds and speak up which is affecting the nation in all areas badly. While the bill is yet to be fully passed, he is already arresting anyone that speaks ill of his actions and could charge them for a felony. The fear of the charge has been keeping many people mute, and those that have the mind to speak are on the high risk.
The EU and UN blessed the country just days ago with some funds to reduce the tension of the spread of the Covid19, but this support might be just for the Government and not the people and as we keep writing and talking about it, the EU seems to ignore all the plights. The peoples' mouth are shut and we are seeking for help.
Free speech is the ability to speak up in any situation without anyone using a system to scare us. The internet is already in a big mess by big-game players. Most of the companies restrict users right and place their extreme rules and regulations that will cause the user to be using their system in fear. A little information that upset from what they want, such user will be banned, suspended or do whatever they want.
On Facebook, user could be blocked for posting things that are true and their ideas about it which is not right. And when you get blocked or restrict to service, and you choose to get support from their team, they may ignore or fix it at their convenience. I have lost an account all because of this.
I SEEK FOR FREE SPEECH
We need a world where we will not be scared to talk. Where no one can block us because we make valid points. A world where our opinions are valid. WE NEED A NEW WORLD.
I feel that if we can exercise this value, it is going to lead to the wellbeing of the society and the world at large, making the world a better place, people should be allowed to say their minds about public decisions or acts. This value is the basic thing we need to apply in many areas of the world which could reduce corruption and unwanted happenings. Imagine an environment without freedom of speech, everything would just be to the advantage of the higher authorities and ones in power and the detriment of the mere masses. A situation like that would make society more vulnerable to all sort of things that could harm its system. The internet needs a change. The blockchain already has the capability to make the change stand. DECENTRALIZATION is the voice. Everyone on the web should have the right to speak freely. The world system should be DECENTRALIZED.
NO TO ABUSE OF FREEDOM
We should have our right to speak but we should not abuse the freedom. We should be thoughtful, descriptive, and reasonable in all aspect. Free Speech is more than money because it gives joy, happiness, and freedom which are priceless.
