A clearer understanding of Christ:
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
Let's get straight into it.
In verses 21 & 22 Jesus is defined as a man. He must be man in order to reconcile the sins of Adam. God is just and it is just that man be able to pay for what man has done.
Verse 24 defines God as the Father. The Father alone holds the title of God throughout the Scriptures.
Verse 25 explains that Jesus must reign until he has destroyed all the enemies of God.
Verse 27 explains that it is God who put all power under Jesus and Jesus is over all, but God. It is clear by this verse that God is excepted(excluded) from this rule because He is the one who put all things under Jesus.
Verse 28 explains that when all things are subdued, the enemy is defeated, then Jesus also will be subject to God. This verse makes a clear distinction between the Son and God as two separate beings.
The teaching of Scriptures is clear and is only clouded by the traditions of men. Jesus is our Savior, the man born of God who gave himself as a perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world. He now reigns over all, as judge and ruler, until the end comes and all enemies are defeated. When he has finished the reconciliation of the world, he will step aside and be subject to God. In that time God will be all in all; Over all and in all.
