When you think about how easy it is to ruin someone's life, you get this chill running down your spine.
Yesterday, a neighbor and friend of mine had this lady come over to his place, and according to him, she requested some alcohol, which he immediately got for her.
Not to go into too much detail, but they both got really drunk and ended up doing whatever it is they did. But something my neighbor said that evening is what is getting him scared. After they were done with everything and were just relaxing, basically waiting for the alcohol to pass, the lady mentioned that my neighbor had drugged her and gotten what he wanted.
According to him, she had said it playfully, but yet he still felt uneasy about it because making use of the word “drugged” when in reality all he did was give her the alcohol she had requested made him scared. And this is because he has been thinking and realized that if this lady were to go report to the police, he would have no evidence whatsoever to prove that she had requested the drinks and that everything that happened was consensual.
Well, as if that wasn't enough, he had woken up this morning to a text from the lady, telling him how what he did the other day was messed up. It turned out she's still sticking to her story of being drugged, and now my friend is more scared than ever.
So he had quickly gotten up and left and probably won't be back for the next couple of days just in case the lady decides to go call the cops on him. I won't lie, I'm also scared for him because I saw when she was leaving yesterday, and she looked happy; she even promised to come visit him again soon right in my presence.
So remembering how happy she was and now seeing this whole thing slowly unfold just made me realize how easy it is for one to ruin someone else's life.
