This might be me thinking too much about this or me being superstitious, but ever since I started looking at things in my life positively, most things have been working out fine for me. Even on days when everything starts on a bad note, it ends up ending the right way, in my favor.
Earlier this month, I needed to travel down to go do my monthly clearance for the one-year service program that I'm currently on. Before the schedule for this month's clearance came out, I was praying for mine not to fall on the first day, which also was on a Monday.
And this was because the first days are usually days when the people in charge are super active, in a bad mood, and just looking for someone to make a scapegoat out of. But sadly the list came out, and what I was scared of happened. It turned out I was to be among the people going on Monday.
It got to Monday, and I got dressed and got to the council, and as expected, the lady in charge of my clearance was not in a good mood. Any little mistake seen on your clearance form, and she immediately is asking someone to go bring her report book so that she could penalize you.
So, like you can imagine, the tension was high, and everyone was scared. But I was there, and there was nowhere to run to. It eventually got to my turn, and just as the lady in charge took my form from me, another girl had called her attention; apparently she was one of the people who were caught, and she was begging.
For some reason, the whole begging irritated the lady in charge, and she just started shouting, telling the girl not to disturb her. While all of this was going on, she had my form on her hand and had angrily placed it among the others without properly going through it.
And that was how I got through with it, all thanks to the distraction that that young lady had caused. The crazy thing is that stuff like this has randomly been happening in my life, weird stuff that strategically makes things work in my favor. I hope it continues.
