About a week ago, everyone in my school got news of our exam time table being out. Here in our school, the exam time table coming out meant only one thing, and that was that we would be starting our exam in the next few weeks to come, mostly two weeks after the time table is out.
I've got to admit, when the time table got out, I never really thought much about it but now that it's only a couple of days to the exam and I find myself kinda reminiscing about my whole journey in school and the different people I've been opportuned to meet in this school, I'm just taking it all in. I remember back when I was in highschool during my final days there, I was so excited about graduating that I never really took the time to just reminisce and really look at all of my friends one last time because back then I was really young and all I cared about was not having to write class works or assignments anymore.
But then high-school came to an end and it didn't even take up to a week for me to regret wanting to leave school in such a hurry. I soon realised that a lot of this people that I saw everyday because school made it possible, were not really that easy to access or spend time with anymore. So I started visiting each and everyone of them, I saw some while some were unavailable. But even at that, the whole thing didn't feel the same anymore because we all were no longer gathered in one classroom and I eventually stopped visiting and stayed at home.
And now with all that in mind, I no longer want to feel that way anymore, so I'm taking my time now to enjoy every moment that is to come while reminiscing on moments pasts, be it good or bad moments because at the end of the day, it will all be stories that I would tell my friends or my kids someday. The story of how I came, saw and fought my way through every challenges this school threw my way, finally emerging victorious at the end of it all.
And before I go, there's one question I keep asking myself, if I have the opportunity to do it all over again, if I would. Well my answer is simple, hell naaahhhh.
