For a long time now, the debate between science and all things supernatural has been one that most people keep sitting on the fence on. Some people would attribute certain things that happen in their lives to coincidence, while some would tell you it was all thanks to a greater power up there in heaven, moving the pieces and making everything work the way it should.

I happen to be one of those people who have been on the fence when it comes to topics like voodoo, spirits, and all that, but not too long ago, something happened that kinda brought my mind back to this topic.

A few nights ago, someone had come to ask me how much transportation it would cost him to get from one state to another because he knows that I do travel to that state a lot. I had told him how much it was, and he had left.

Fast forward to maybe three hours later; he had walked up to us to tell us that he just got word that the person he planned to go visit in that state had died the previous day. According to him, he said he had been trying to call him all day to let him know that he planned on paying him a visit the next day, only for someone else to answer the phone that night and give him the bad news.

They said the guy had gone to bed the previous night and didn't wake up.

While we were discussing the situation, someone had said that perhaps the dead guy's spirit was what had disturbed the other guy and made him suddenly want to travel to go pay him a visit, and the other guy had agreed immediately.

Of course I thought that was far-fetched, but right now, the more I think of it, the more I ask myself, what if that was the truth? Or was it just a coincidence that a night after his friend died, he suddenly got this urge to go pay him a visit?
