I want to officially share one of my tie-dye works with you, I designed a brocade fabric with navy blue, purple and pink but the visible colors there is the navy blue and purple.
Tie-dye is one of the things I love in textile, it's creative and simple especially when you apply a lot of colors on the fabric (marbling method), the colors just blend into each other and create a very beautiful designs that you can hardly point out the main colors used to dye the fabric.
I don't have progress shots but I folded the fabric multiple times tied it with a rope (twine), then I poured the colors one after the other on it, waited for close to an hour for the it to undergo what we call oxidation ( The process of exposing fabric to air, to allow fastening of dye and chemical substances after dyeing )
After the oxidation process I rinsed off the excess dye on it and let it dry.

The white spaces there are much cause I tied it too tight.
