Hello everyone
It's so good to be here in this great community @hivediy on this lovely day, I hope you are doing great, I bring you all greetings and I wish you success in your daily activities. It is another opportunity for me today to share with you the making of this simple fabric flower made from two colors of fabric for your simple design and decoration.
If you are familiar with my blog, you would have noticed that I love to make simple craft with different designs from pieces of scrap fabric to create something beautiful for decoration and designs on outfit, turban cap or as accessories for a unique outcome. This flower was made inform of tulip flowers but with the combination of two colors of fabric in 3 places to make a creative design, you can see how beautiful this is with a little rope or handle depending on what it can be decided to be used for and I'm sure you will like the beautiful outcome.
This is very easy and simple to make with the step by step process I will be sharing with you.
I brought out 2 pieces of scrap fabric as I have several of them packed in a big bag, I picked 2 different colors and cut out 3 pieces of 5 x 5 inches 2 pieces from one of the fabric and 1 piece from the other fabric
Each fabric was folded in two in a triangle shape
Each piece was folded in two again by pinning both sides together
I placed the 3 pieces together on intervals with the other color at the middle
It was taken to the sewing machine where I sew on where the first layer stopped and it was sewn on a straight line. I trimmed off the excess after it was sewn together
I placed a small rope at the middle before it was folded together and the tip of the other side was folded together as
It was sewn together on my sewing machine and finally, it was turned to the right side with this beautiful outcome
I hope you like the combination and beautiful outcome of the fabric flower I made, this can be used as a simple decoration or key holder just as I have thought.
