With all the crazy, evil crap going on around us, it's important to make sure one looks also for the beauty around us. The soul wasn't meant to be submerged solely in darkness. Today, me and my partner went for a walk in nature at one of our favorite spots. My pictures aren't the greatest as I have an outdated phone, but they are good enough to give an idea of how beautiful this place is.

There are many trails here, but stuck to the one near the water today. Here are some more I took as we walked the trail alongside it. It's the other side heading off into the forest.

This one is from a deck that was built, showing another leg of the water off a little in the distance.

It's almost impossible to make out without magnifying the picture a lot, but this one has a duck in it to the right.

It's from a bridge that goes over the water. While we were walking, we passed a little duck family, but they were on the other bank and my camera couldn't capture them. They were making quite a racket, so not sure if the little one was in trouble.

Growing Our Own Food

With all of the food shortages, and talk of it worsening, I decided that it might not be smart to wait until I can get out of an apartment to grow my own. Without going into specifics on the steps I'm implementing until they have begun actualizing, here is the first step we are taking.

We (by we I mean my partner) began growing some garlic. They were started in egg shells, with the source of light coming from the light above the stove. They were recently transplanted into some organic soil we bought and moved into a larger planter. This next picture if the soil we used.

And here are two photos of the garlic itself. They are still in the shells in this one.

Transplanted now.

They aren't thriving as well since we transplanted them. I suspect because they aren't getting enough light. That solution will be left for a future post, as well as my next steps to expanding my indoor garden.

That's been quite a challenge for me. I don't have a lot of experience despite growing up part time on a farm as a child. And this is compounded by needing to grow this all indoors. We tried a tomato plant a couple years ago, but the squirrels harvest everything before they are ready hahahaha. And without going into specifics, the tomato wasn't a happy camper when my partner brought it inside. It didn't care that the squirrels were eating from it, it wanted to be outside.

I hope you have enjoyed getting a glimpse into my walk in nature, and hope that you can find time to walk in it yourself. Not only is it relaxing to walk among our other breathing neighbors in the plant and animal world (soul=breathing), but it helps reset, even if momentarily, our rhythm back to natural (Schumann resonances) from the unnatural one all these EMF waves place us in.
