Hello everyone 😻,
Happy Thursday 🎊 and a very warm welcome to my report. Hope you are enjoying the Boxing Day. It's been another ordinary day stepping it out and it's now time to slow down and report on how my day went. Of course not forgetting the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.
So without much further ado let's take it away 💨.
So I began my day with a brisk walk around the neighborhood. Pretty cloudy and windy as I made my way around.
It was a little chilly compared to yesterday, but I had on warm clothes😹.
Later on after about 20 or so minutes, I was back indoors getting on with the usual house chores.
Next I looked at some of the trending stories and also watched a bit of you tube and Twitter.
There were some interesting matches in the EPL.
In the evening it was still a little cloudy as I left for my sunset 🌄 walk. I did a few rounds in the neighbourhood before heading back indoors
I made it back safe and sound and have been watching the news and just relaxing😹.
So let's proceed to look at some of the trending stories.
Starting off in Gaza, the blood bath continued with 38 Palestinians killed across the strip😿.
This includes five journalists killed in central Gaza after an Israeli drone hit their broadcasting van🙀.
Five medical personnel killed as Israeli forces attacked Kamal Adwan hospital in the north.
There also reports of three babies freezing to death amid Israeli blockade, leading to shortage of supplies including blankets🙀.
Israel was also busy in Yemen, hitting the main airport in the capital Sanaa.
With another attack hitting Hodeidah power plant.
In the airport attack, the head of WHO, Tedros Ghebreyesus was just metres away from the Israeli airstrike that killed three people🙀.
He is safe but was unable to fly out.
In Syria, state media reported that 14 policeman were killed in an ambush by Assad loyalists in the town of Tartous😿. Security has been beefed up following that attack.
Then, India trending as first Sikh prime minister Manmohan Singh died aged 92. He is well remembered as the architect of the 1990's economic reforms in India. May his soul RIP💯.
Trending in Europe, an NGO report says that a record number of migrants died this year attempting to reach Spain.
That's more than 10,000 migrants perished - an average of 30 a day - in 2024 while trying to reach Spain😿.
Finally, Panama president has rejected Trump's threats to take over Panama canal, adding that it is and will remain Panamanian😹.
