Hello everyone 😻,
Happy Monday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report. It's a new week and life has to continue😹. It's been a great day and as always am here to break it down including some of the day's trending stories.
Thanks for being here and let's get it over with💨.
So I began my day with a few stretches then was out for a walk around the neighborhood ending up at the grocery store.
It was both cloudy ☁️ and sunny 🌞 as I made my way.
Later I was back indoors handling the usual house chores and also settled down into the trending stories of the day and some of the action from the Olympics.
Later in the afternoon, I walked for quite a while at the airport arrivals. Waiting for someone really takes time but everything went well 💯.
By the time we got back home, I was exhausted, so I have been relaxing and watching some youtube.
So what's been trending?
The biggest story of the day is the plummet of global markets🙀. Weak US economic data has stoked fears of a recession😿.
Bitcoin has lost half of its value in a two day plunge 🙀.
In the UK, almost 400 people have been arrested following a week of far right rioting across several cities 🙀. Most of these people are just thugs taking advantage of the situation.
Speaking of riots, heavy riots and protests have forced Bangladesh PM, Sheikh hasina to resign and flee the country. Protesters got access to the palace, destroyed furniture and even ate food😹.
Her 15 years of autocratic, dictatorship are now over. She was quite drunk with power😹. Good riddance 💯.
The army head will be forming an interim govt to bring order and stop chaos on the streets.The sad part is that over 200 people including police have died😿.
Finally, let's finish with some action from the Olympics in Paris.
Swedish star, Duplantis, has broken the pole vault world record😹. Congratulations to him🎉, congratulations to Simone Biles who added to her medal 🏅 count despite missing out on the gold.The action continues in Paris.
