Happy Monday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's a brand new month of April; Easter and fool's day have coincided🙀. This will occur next in 2029. Hopefully your week is off to a great start. Mine has been wonderful and it's now time to wind down and look forward to bedtime. Before that please allow me to fill you in on how my day has been including some of the trending stories that caught my eye.As always thank you for reading and let's get it done💨.
So I had two major walks, starting off early with fast paced morning session. I brisk walked around the neighbourhood. At least today the sun was out on a beautiful Monday morning with an amazing fresh breeze🍃. Then I was back indoors for the usual household chores. later in the afternoon, I stopped by the shopping center then was back home for some cooking followed by the usual nap. In between I did check out some trending news and watched some you tube. Finally I finished off the day with the slow paced evening walk in the cool evening breeze.
So what's been trending. Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept going 😹.
Globally, Gaza trending after another bloody day. Israel has withdrawn from the Al shifa hospital complex in central Gaza after holding it for close to two weeks.
More than 200 dead as Israel claims it was being used by Hamas as a command centre🙀. Adding that it had recovered communication equipment, guns and ammunition
The hospital management claimed that up to 21 patients were killed in the operation. The hospital, one of the biggest in Gaza has been totally destroyed😿.
Meanwhile, in Israel thousands of protesters started day 2 camping outside the Knesset. They want PM Netanyahu to resign immediately🙀.
It's six months of war and their loved ones are still being detained in Gaza with no end in sight😿.
Speaking of Netanyahu, today he bombed the Iranian embassy in Damascus Syria🙀
6 missiles dropped by Israeli F35 fighter jets hit the embassy killing 7 people, including Iranian revolutionary guard commander Mohammad Reza Zahedi😿.
We still don't know how Iran will respond to that attack.
Back in Israel, the Knesset has passed a law paving way for ban on Al Jazeera and other foreign broadcasting networks that Netanyahu calls, mouthpiece of Hamas😹.
In Europe, Germany trending as it legalized cannabis. It's the biggest EU country to partially legalize recreational marijuana🎉. Adults can now carry up to 25 grams and grow up to three trees at home😹.
Germans are gonna get high😹.
Across the pond in the US, interim cargo route is to open near the collapsed Baltimore bridge. This to help essential commercial vessels keep moving.
In crazy weather, a 6.5 earthquake has been reported in Japan🙀. All's well that ends well 💯
