Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Caturday 🐈 and a very warm welcome from Bob and yours truly😹. It's Bob's day to claw 🐾 into the blockchain, so give it up for him and other furry friends 😻. As for me I have had a great day stepping it out this cloudy November day; and just about now I wanna fill you in on how it went and also share some of the trending stories. Thank you for reading and let's take it away 💨.
It was a nice morning so I had an amazing session of a few rounds of brisk walking around the neighbourhood. The other time I stepped out was to the shopping center for veggies and fruits around 1 pm. It was a largely cloudy day as I made my way. As always I had my usual afternoon nap, then I got up and had the cooking done. There were some interesting EPL matches going on too.
Finally I had the usual slow paced evening walk enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃 .In between I was watching the news and also youtube.
So what's been trending in the media streets? Locally a rather quiet day with the usual political shenanigans 😹.
Globally, Israel has denied striking Gaza hospital but says fighting happening around it. Doctors inside say they have lost power and run out of food and water🙀.
The director of Al shifa says any moving person is targeted by Israeli snipers, tanks😿. Dozens of incubator babies could die if something is not done immediately😿.
Palestinian red crescent says Israeli tanks are 20 metres from al Quds hospital in Gaza city, another hospital in dire condition🙀.
On another front, Israeli defense minister has accused Hezbollah of dragging Lebanon into a war that may happen🙀. Adding that Lebanese civilians will be the ones to bear the brunt😿.
Also trending, leaders from 56 Arab and muslim countries have met in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to discuss the ongoing war in Gaza. Qatari Emir calling for an end to the bombings in Gaza.
Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas, also in attendance, has asked America to pressure Israel into agreeing to a ceasefire.
In Europe, French president Macron has urged Israel to stop bombing babies in Gaza.
Then in London, close to 300,000 people attended pro Palestinian march as about 100 counter protesters arrested🙀. This was the largest crowd since this started.
A similar protest was held in Brussels, Belgium. Protesters calling for an end to the bombings and subsequent deaths.
Also trending, Pope Francis has fired Texan bishop Joseph Strickland, a fierce critic who questioned the Pope's leadership of the church🙀. The Vatican said the bishop had been relieved of his duties. I guess church political shenanigans 😹.
