Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's another 24 hours to be grateful for and as the day fades away, am raring to go with my stepping activities of the day including some of the trending stories I came across. Thank you for being here and let's get cracking 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with the fast paced morning session. Thoroughly enjoyed the cool morning breeze 🍃 as I made my way around the neighborhood 🌲. But it was a short walk. Then I was back indoors for some rest and the daily household chores. A little bit of youtube and cooking then the afternoon saw me go out to the shopping centre for some groceries. Next came the refreshing nap💤. I woke up some time later in the evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and news.
I did finish off the day with the slow paced evening walk. Now let's quickly take a look what has been trending in the media streets.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept going😹, otherwise a quiet day.
Globally, Hamas Qassam brigades say they have stopped an incursion by Israeli forces into Gaza🙀. One Israeli soldier was killed as they tried that ground attack.
Nine Egyptians were injured by explosions near watch tower close to the Rafa border crossing. Israel army later issued statement expressing sorrow for accidental strike on Egyptian border post.
Meanwhile the aerial bombardment of Gaza is still on with Israel promising to intensify attacks🙀.
The dead and wounded are straining Gaza hospitals😿. The death toll reaching over 4,600😭.
Iran has warned of escalation risk as Israeli PM Netanyahu, said war with Hamas was a do or die🙀.
Across the pond in the US, the president of a synagogue in Detroit was found stabbed to death in a park not far from her home😭. Police believe she was murdered elsewhere and body dumped there. They have warned the public not to draw any conclusions before investigation and facts were established.
Finally, Argentina trending as they vote in a presidential election. Radical candidate Javier Milei among the top three candidates😹.
He loves bitcoin so much and the freedom it brings. He is quite popular with young voters.If he wins you can be sure Argentina will follow El Salvador in making btc legal tender💯. Let's wait and see what happens.
