Happy Tuesday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. I am definitely grateful for this day💯.So it's been another wonderful day and it's about that time to slow down, get ready for bed 💤. So just like yesterday, I started the day with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 around the neighborhood 🌲. A nice session and then I was back indoors for some resting and the usual house chores. It's been quite cloudy the entire day even as I walked to the shopping centre in the afternoon.
I later had my usual nap and then woke up to some cooking and news. Next it was time for the sunset walk, that went well and I made it back home safe and sound. To finish off let's quickly look at the trending stories of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going, otherwise a quiet day.
Globally UK trending as just like Nigel Farage, British Muslims say they are being de-banked🙀. Often without reasons major high street banks appear to be disproportionately closing accounts of British Muslims. That's a good reason for them to switch to bitcoins and other cryptos like hive 💯. Banks seem to have such a hold on us, they will soon turn out just like post offices as crypto slowly takes root.
Also in the UK, three Bulgarians have been arrested on suspicion for spying for Russia😹.
Let's go to Russia where at least 35 people were killed in a fire and explosion at a petrol station in the Dagestan region🙀. Many more injured, my sincere condolences to the bereaved families😭.
Across the pond in the US, Trump and 18 allies have been indicted in Georgia for election interference🙀. Racketeering allegation among the charges. Legal experts saying Georgia state level charges cannot be pardoned outright by a governor or a sitting US president😹. What's it gonna be?
Argentina trending as the far right candidate who won the primaries turns out to be pro bitcoin. If he becomes president in October we could see Argentina accept btc as legal tender🎊. Fingers crossed 🤞😹
Finally in crazy weather, tropical storm Lani has been lashing Japan with tons of rainfall🙀. Disrupting trains and flights leaving many stranded. Thousands of homes left without power.
