Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report 😊. As always I am grateful for this day, I just love how laid back Sundays are💯. This one being the last one of July.Thank you for stopping by and please keep reading 👓 as I let you in on how my day has been including some of the trending stories I came across. Let's go 💨.
So as usual, I began the day with the fast paced morning session. Brisk walking 👣 and jogging around the neighborhood 🌲, enjoying the cool morning breeze 🍃. Then I was back indoors for some resting and then later my usual daily chores. I had a big pile of laundry to get through. Then I also kept abreast with the trending news and emails. Later in the afternoon I had a little bit of walking going to the city center for some groceries and window shopping. Then I was back indoors for the usual refreshing nap. The evening came fast and I woke up to cooking, watching a bit of youtube.
Then I was out as the sun was setting to enjoy the slow paced evening walk that winds down my day. Finally let's quickly look at what was trending in the media.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going as politicians attended church services.
On the continent, west African leaders/ economic community have given Niger's military a 7 day ultimatum to release the president and restore him back to power. Failure to which there will be a military intervention🙀. Chad's president is in Niger meeting the coup leader that has declared himself president. Let's hope he can talk some sense into them.
Globally, Ukraine trending as president Zelensky has started giving Russia a taste of their own medicine😹. Ukraine fired three drones into Moscow, though they were intercepted one of them damaged a building in the business district🙀.
Let's go to Pakistan, where a suicide bomber has killed 43 people during a political rally😭. More than 200 injured in the attack too. Definitely a brain washed deranged person carried it out.
Finally Turkey has asked Sweden to find a way to stop quran burnings. This as protests have been going on in many countries across the Arab world.
