Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Tuesday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. I am definitely grateful for this day💯. It's been another ordinary day and it's now time to wrap things up and get ready for bed 💤. As always thank you for stopping by and let's quickly take a look at how my stepping went and also share some of the day's trending stories. Come on 💨.
So as usual I had two major walking sessions. Starting off with the fast paced morning session that was quite enjoyable in the fresh morning breeze🍃. Then I was back indoors for the little daily household chores. Later in the afternoon I stopped by the shopping centre for some cooking groceries. I squeezed my nap into the rest of the afternoon. Then the final evening walk happened before I got back home safe and sound calling it a day. Of course in between I was watching the news including crypto , lets get into that next.
Trending locally, the usual political shenanigans😹 kept going, otherwise a quiet day. Tomorrow won't be such a quiet day as the opposition are kicking off their weekly protests🙀.
Speaking of protests, Israel trending as protests entered the 29th consecutive week. Protesters converged on the streets of Tel Aviv and outside the supreme court. They are against the proposed judicial reforms that will strip power from the supreme court🙀.
The protesters called it a day of national resistance. Police engaged them with water canons and teargas😹 as they marched on the roads and at one point they blocked the army headquarters in Tel Aviv.
Across the pond in the US, former president Donald Trump says he is a target of January 6 federal investigation, he added that he was told to report to the grand jury, which almost always means arrest and indictment😹.
Down in Panama, the former ex president has been sentenced to ten years in jail for money laundering🙀. The 71 year old, Ricardo is a front runner for presidency in 2024 elections. His lawyers said they would appeal the sentence.
Finally in crazy weather, extreme heat sets records and brought health warnings in Europe and US. For instance, Rome reported it's highest temperature at 41°C🙀.
Let's hope there will be some respite from the heatwave soon.
