Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. Just another ordinary Sunday and the stepping continued unabated. As always I am truly happy and grateful for this day💯,many wanted to see it but didn't, so we are all blessed. Thank you for being here yet again and before bedtime, let's quickly take a look at how my day went and also some of the trending stories. Here we go again, come on 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with the fast paced morning session. Thoroughly enjoyed the cool morning breeze 🍃 as I made my way around the neighborhood 🌲. But it was a short walk. Then I was back indoors for some rest and the daily household chores. A little bit of youtube and cooking then the afternoon saw me go out to the shopping centre for some groceries. Next came the refreshing nap💤. I woke up some time later in the evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and news.
I did finish off the day with the slow paced evening walk. Now let's quickly take a look what has been trending in the media streets.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept going😹, otherwise a quiet day.
On the continent the president of Tunisia has rejected the large amount of criticism leveled against his govt for the treatment of African migrants saying that migrants are treated humanely😹. Quite ironic given what's currently happening at the border with Libya.
Trending in Ukraine, Russia angry with Turkey after president Zelensky returned home with the Azovstal commanders, who Turkey had promised would be imprisoned until the war was over😹.
Meanwhile, Russia says it shot down a cruise missile over Crimean city 🙀. This as the counteroffensive fighting goes on in the Donetsk region.
Trending in the UK, BBC suspended a presenter accused of paying a teenager up to $45,000 to send him explicit images🙀. Quite a pervert taking advantage of kids, why didn't he pay me, I would send him pics😹. He will pay for it though, as British law makes it illegal to create or possess indecent images of anyone under 18💯.
Across the pond in the US, president Biden is on his way to the UK, then next will be to Lithuania and finish off in Finland. A three country tour, but the important one will be Lithuania for a NATO meeting discussing mostly the war in Ukraine.
Finally, in crazy weather, the monsoon rains are wreaking havoc in Pakistan. Record breaking rains in Lahore have left 35% of the city without drinking water and electricity🙀. Weather experts are warning people in low lying areas to expect more heavy rain in the coming days😭. Let's hope it won't be as bad as it sounds.
