Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Tuesday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. I am definitely grateful for this day💯. It's been another ordinary day and it's now time to wrap things up and get ready for bed 💤. So as usual I had two major walking sessions. Starting off with the fast paced morning session that was quite enjoyable in the fresh morning breeze🍃. Then I was back indoors for the little daily household chores. Later in the afternoon I stopped by the shopping centre for some cooking groceries. I squeezed my nap into the rest of the afternoon. Then the final evening walk happened before I got back home safe and sound calling it a day. Of course in between I was watching the news including crypto , lets get into that next.
Trending locally, the usual political shenanigans😹 kept going, otherwise a quiet day.
Globally, Israel trending amid rising tensions in the occupied west bank. Following the Israeli raid on Jenin, 2 Palestinian men shot at and killed 4 Israeli settlers 😭. After that shoot out Palestinian properties were attacked🙀. PM Netanyahu has promised swift action in response to the killings.
Let's go to Europe, where Russia launched a new wave of drone attacks targeting Ukrainian military warehouses. Attacks went as far as the western city of Lviv🙀.
France trending as french police have raided the offices of the Paris 2024 Olympic organizing committee. The anti corruption agency reported potential irregularities on allocation of contracts🙀.
Estonia also trending as it becomes the first ex Soviet state to legalize same sex marriage. Parliament passed it today.
Across the pond in the US, Hunter Biden has agreed to plead guilty to tax charges and illegally owning a hand gun🙀. He reached the deal with justice department, so he won't be serving any jail time instead he will go for counseling sessions.
Then the desperate search for the missing submersible continued, it disappeared with 5 people on board and the oxygen is quickly running out🙀.
Finally in crypto news, Bitcoin dominance is above 50%, a first in years. Then bitcoin whales holding between 1k and 10k btc collectively have accumulated back to 7 months highs. In other news, Deutsche bank has sought crypto custody license approval in Germany.
