So as always my day began with a little bit of stretching then a few rounds of brisk walking around the neighbourhood. That fresh morning breeze🍃 was so wonderful. Then I was back indoors where I rested then got on with the little daily chores around the house. In between I caught up with the latest news and watched some crypto youtube. My next walking came later in the afternoon to the city centre for some errands . Then I was back indoors for the usual nap. I woke up feeling refreshed some time early evening. watched the news then it was time for the sunset walk. As always slow paced around the neighbourhood and park. So that was the stepping and now let's quickly look at what trended in the media.
Locally, nothing much happening except the usual political shenanigans😹. Today was the day of the African child remembering children who were massacred in Soweto during the cruel apartheid regime in south Africa😭.
Ukraine trending as a group of African presidents on a peace ☮️ mission stopped by Kyiv for talks with president Zelensky.
The leaders will be meeting Putin in Russia tomorrow. Let's hope this push for an end to the war bears fruit 💯. Meanwhile the war kept raging in Donetsk region. Putin saying the counteroffensive by Ukraine will fail.
Then France trending as Saudi crown prince Mohamed bin Salman stopped by for talks with president Macron. France definitely needs that Saudi oil😹.
Let's to to the middle east, Israel trending as Russia announced the opening of consular offices in west Jerusalem. Israel welcomed the decision calling the move a diplomatic achievement.
Across the pond in the US, a man has been found guilty in Pittsburgh synagogue attack that killed eleven people in 2018; it was the deadliest attack on Jews in US history😭.
Finally some crypto news, Blackrock , the world's biggest asset manager filed for a Bitcoin ETF, this means they love and want BTC, Blackrock is not just any little firm, it's a behemoth😹. Such a bullish move at a time the SEC is fighting the crypto industry. Clearly shows us that BTC and crypto are not going anywhere, keep filling your bags because we know who will win😹.
