Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Monday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's another 24 hours to be grateful for, a new week and I have had a great day. It's now that time to slow down and fill you in on how my day has been including some of the trending stories that caught my eye. As always thank you for reading and let's take it away💨.
So I had two major walks in the morning and evening. Started off the day with the fast paced morning session; today the sun was out on a beautiful Monday morning with an amazing fresh breeze🍃. After a bit of resting, I did the usual household chores. Later in the afternoon I stopped by the shopping center then was back home for some cooking followed by the usual nap. In between I did check out some trending news and watched some you tube. Finally I finished off the day with the slow paced evening walk in the cool evening breeze.
So what's been trending. Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept going 😹, otherwise a quiet day.
Globally, Ukraine trending as they continued with their counteroffensive against Russia. Today seven more villages were retaken in the Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk region.🎊. Heavy fighting going on as Russia repelled them.
Germany trending as NATO holds it's largest air deployment drill for the next ten days. Sweden and Japan will be joining in too.
Also trending, Italy's former PM, Silvio Berlusconi has unfortunately died at the age of 86😭. A state funeral scheduled for Wednesday. He was quite wealthy and owner of football club AC Milan, large media companies among his properties. My sincere condolences to his family💯.
Let's go to Asia where China has embarked on a project to drill the largest hole😹. It's gonna be 11k metres deep and take 457 days to complete. Looking for oil and gas and also study the evolution of the earth over millions of years.
Trending in south Korea, a British man or spider man has been arrested for scaling a 123 storey building in Seoul😹. Last year he was arrested in London for climbing the Shard building,a dangerous talent.
Finally, some crypto news. Russia's largest bank is to allow bitcoin and crypto trading starting in July🎉. Some one should let the SEC and Gary know about this as he destroys crypto in the US.
