Happy Caturday 🐈 and a very warm welcome from Bob and yours truly😹. It's Bob's day to claw 🐾 into the blockchain, so give it up for him and other furry friends 😻. As for me I have had a great day stepping it out and just about now I wanna fill you in on how it went and also share some of the trending stories making headlines. So as usual, I kicked off early with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 and jogging around the neighborhood 🌲. It was a beautiful sunny 🌞 morning and I enjoyed the fresh morning breeze.
Then I was back indoors for a bit of resting before embarking on the little house chores around the house. Up and down and in between I kept watching the news for trending stories. Then later in the afternoon a quick stop at the shopping centre for groceries. Next, I was back indoors sleeping for the usual refreshing afternoon nap💤. The evening came in quite swiftly, I was up, cooking and watching a bit of you tube and some soccer matches. Man city have won the premier league title for a fifth time in six seasons after Arsenal's defeat at Nottingham forest earlier today. I guess it's congratulations 🎉 to them, well deserved🎊.
The sunset walk came as it was almost getting dark, as always slow paced enjoying the cool evening/night breeze. I finally made it back home safe and sound calling it a day.
So that was my day but lets finish with some of the trending stories.
Locally, a rather quiet day except for the usual political shenanigans 😹.
Globally, president Zelensky went on a diplomatic blitz to tighten the screws on Russia😹;From Saudi arabia yesterday, today he landed in Hiroshima, Japan were G7 countries summit is ongoing.
He received a warm welcome from world leaders. The US has agreed to train Ukrainian pilots on F16 fighter jets, meaning at some point the US will supply the fighter jets🎉. Russia has warned of collosal risks to the west if that happens😹.
Speaking of Russia, the head of Russian mercenary group Wagner, has claimed full control of Bakmut🙀. However, Ukraine denies it saying the situation there is critical with fighting still ongoing.
Still in Europe, flood recovery is ongoing in Italy after the worst flood in a century🙀. Deaths reported and thousands forced to flee their homes in northeast Italy, I forgot the name of that city but the devastation is alarming and more rain forecasted🙀.
Let's go the middle east, Israel trending as tens of thousands of protesters marched the streets in Tel Aviv, opposing the proposed judicial reforms. It's the 20th week and seems like they won't relent😹.
Finally, in crazy weather, wild fires are back in Spain. The fire is raging on an area of 8,000 hectares, hundreds of firefighters are working to control the blaze🔥. Authorities are blaming arsonists for deliberately starting some of the fires.
