Hello everyone 👋,

Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. Just another ordinary Sunday and the stepping continued unabated. As always I am truly happy and grateful for this day💯,many wanted to see it but didn't, so we are all blessed. Thank you for being here yet again and before bedtime, let's quickly take a look at how my day went and also some of the trending stories. Here we go again, come on 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with the fast paced morning session. Thoroughly enjoyed the cool morning breeze 🍃 as I made my way around the neighborhood 🌲. But it was a short walk. Then I was back indoors for some rest and the daily household chores. A little bit of youtube and cooking then the afternoon saw me go out to the shopping centre for some groceries. Next came the refreshing nap💤. I woke up some time later in the evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and news.
There were some interesting EPL matches going on today, a bad day for Man U but good one for Arsenal😹.
I did finish off the day with the slow paced evening walk. Now let's quickly take a look what has been trending in the media streets.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept going😹, otherwise a quiet day.
On the continent, DRC trending as flooding and landslides have killed more than 200 people😭. The damaged roads and hilly terrain is making the rescue operation quite difficult😡.
Meanwhile in Sudan, the situation remains largely the same with fighting raging on. In Saudi Arabia, mediators from both sides are seeking a solution to that mess.
Syria trending as the country was readmitted into the Arab league after twelve years. Remember president Assad has held on to power since the unrest started in March 2011, over 600k dead and millions displaced🙀. Since the fallout Iran and Russia have helped keep Assad in power.
Across the pond in the US, a deranged gunman has shot and killed eight people in Texas😭, another case of dangerous weapons in the wrong hands.
Finally, let's finish in Chile, were an election was underway to elect a council of 50 advisers to help draft and rewrite a new constitution. Once elected they will begin their work in June.
