Happy hump day 😎🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. Another active day is fading away and as bed 💤 time approaches it's time to wrap things up and get ready for Thursday. Thank you for reading and let's get going 💨.
So as usual I had two major walks just like yesterday, starting off with the fast paced brisk walk around the neighbourhood. Then I was back indoors for the usual household chores and a little bit of resting. The afternoon saw me walk to the shopping centre for some cooking groceries. As always I squeezed in my usual nap before evening set in. Then it was time for the slow paced evening walk enjoying the cool evening breeze🍃. So in between the day I had been watching the trending stories on the news and also in crypto.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going, otherwise a quiet day. Namibia has welcomed first lady Jill Biden who is on a 5 day state visit to that country. Her next stop will be Kenya.
Globally, US president Biden has said Russia's decision to suspend a nuclear arms reduction treaty with the US as a big mistake.
Meanwhile, in Ukraine, Russia has been shelling the Kherson region in southern Ukraine. Other missile strikes were reported in Kharkiv 🙀.
Elsewhere in Moscow, Putin was meeting top Chinese diplomat Wang Yi. Hopefully we see an end to the war in Ukraine this year.
Trending in the middle east, Israeli forces have killed 10 Palestinians in a major raid in Nablus🙀. They were on an operation to crack down on terrorist groups.
Finally in crazy weather, a winter ❄️ storm has lashed northern united States with snow, ice and wind🙀. Thousands of flights were cancelled or delayed, schools closed.
