Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. Just another ordinary day and the stepping continued unabated. I can't believe it's already February 🙀. As always I am truly happy and grateful for this day💯. Thank you for being here yet again and before bedtime, let's quickly take a look at how my day went and also some of the trending stories. So just like yesterday, I kicked off with the fast paced morning session. Thoroughly enjoyed the cool morning breeze 🍃 as I made my way around the neighborhood 🌲. Then I was back indoors for some rest and the daily household chores. A little bit of youtube and cooking then the afternoon saw me go out to the shopping centre for some fruits and veggies. Next came the refreshing nap💤. Then I woke up some time later in the evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and news, There was also some interesting and exciting football matches going on. I did finish off the day with the slow paced evening walk enjoying the cool evening breeze. There was a bright full moon 🌕 in the sky as I concluded my walk
Now let's quickly take a look what has been trending in the media streets.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. In neighbouring south Sudan, the Pope led a huge open air mass in Juba, still calling for peace ☮️ and an end to all conflicts in that country. This as he concluded his African tour.
Globally,more political shenanigans 😹, as China warned of serious repercussions after US shot down it's weather balloon. It accuses the US of over reacting. Let's wait and see how this goes.
Over in Europe, Ukraine says it expects a possible major Russian offensive in February🙀. President Zelensky warned that the situation in the east is getting tougher. Battle for the control of Bakmut raged on.
Let's head to Asia, trending in Pakistan, former army chief Pervez Musharraf, who seized power in a coup, died at the age of 79 in Dubai after a prolonged illness 😭. He had ruled the country for nine years after seizing power in a military coup in 1999. My sincere condolences.
Finally, in crazy weather, wild fires have been reported in Chile 🙀. Conversely, an Arctic blast is deep freezing the US and Canada. Recent temperatures of -108°F (-78°C) are reportedly the lowest ever recorded in the region🙀.
