I am also truly grateful for this day, it's a blessing to be alive in this day and age💯. I thank you all of you for stopping by yet again. Time to wrap things up and quickly take a look at how my day has been plus share some trending stories. Let's take it away💨.
So as always my day began with a little bit of stretching then a few rounds of brisk walking around the neighbourhood. That fresh morning breeze🍃 was so wonderful. Then I was back indoors where I rested then got on with the little daily chores around the house. In between I caught up with the latest news and watched some crypto youtube. My next walking came later in the afternoon getting some fruits and veggies. Then I was back indoors for the usual nap. I woke up feeling refreshed some time early evening. watched the news then it was time for the sunset walk. As always slow paced around the neighbourhood and park. So that was the stepping and now let's quickly look at what trended in the media.
Locally, nothing much happening except the usual political shenanigans 😹. Over in Senegal, 34 African presidents meeting at the Food summit have pledged $40 billion to end hunger in Africa by 2030. They have agreed that Africa has to get more productive and stop relying on food aid. Africa has the potential to be the world's food basket.
Globally, Ukraine trending with another barrage of Russian missiles raining there for a second day🙀. My sincere condolences 😭 as deaths were reported.
Across the pond in the US, footage has been released of the hammer
attack on Nancy Pelosi's husband. Protests brewing in Memphis as people brace for the release of police arrest video. Five police officers face charges of second degree murder, after violently beating the black motorist who died in hospital three days later 🙀. My sincere condolences 😭.
Let's get back to Europe, Denmark trending after a Quran was burned Infront of a mosque by a far right politician 🙀. Turkey has summoned the Danish ambassador. Last week a similar incident took place in Sweden.
Trending in the middle east, a gun man has killed 7 people at a synagogue in east Jerusalem 😭. The gun man was shot dead too. The shooting follows a deadly Israeli raid at the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied west Bank.
Finally let's finish with some interesting news, the oldest and most complete mummy has been discovered in Egypt. The 4,300 year old mummy was found covered in layers of gold near the step pyramid at Saqqara. It was found at the bottom of a 15 metre (49 foot) shaft in a recently uncovered group of tombs. What a fantastic discovery, I just saw the pictures.
