TGiF 🍷🍻 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. The weekend is upon us and am starting to get used to December, the holidays coming up😹. I have had a great day. I am also truly grateful for this day, it's a blessing to be alive 💯. I thank you all of you for stopping by yet again. Time to wrap things up and quickly take a look at how my day has been plus share some trending stories. Let's get it 💨.
So as always my day began with a little bit of stretching then a few rounds of brisk walking around the neighbourhood. That fresh morning breeze🍃 was so wonderful. Then I was back indoors where I rested then got on with the little daily chores around the house. In between I caught up with the latest news and watched some crypto and youtube. My next walking came later in the afternoon getting some fruits and veggies. Then I was back indoors for the usual nap. I woke up feeling refreshed some time early evening. watched the news then it was time for the sunset walk. As always slow paced around the neighbourhood and park. So that was the stepping and now let's quickly look at what trended in the media.
Locally, nothing much happening except the usual political shenanigans 😹.
Globally, Ukraine trending, today a blitz of missiles was fired across five different cities including Kyiv 🙀. People kept safe underground in 🚇 metro stations. However, 60 of the 75 missiles were intercepted 👋.
All aimed at the energy grid as Putin intends to freeze Ukraine into submission😡.
Elsewhere the EU has approved new sanctions against Russia. Then a big mess in Berlin as the biggest aquarium burst sending a million litres of water through the hotel, lots of fish 🐠 🐟 everywhere. The damage enormous 🙀.
Across the pond in the US, Twitter's Elon Musk has suspended accounts of 6 journalists🙀, due to revealing his location, saying not good for his security. Meanwhile former president Trump has launched his NFTs on the polygon blockchain .
A few years back he claimed bitcoin and crypto was dangerous and he trusts USD 😹. Someone knows where the money's at. You wonder who even told him about it. Watch what they do and not what they say 😹.
Finally let's finish with the political shenanigans in Peru. At least 18 people have been killed in the ongoing protests 😭. My sincere condolences. Congress has ruled out early elections.
While the supreme court has ordered that the impeached president should be jailed for 18 months🙀. A five day curfew is now in force.
