Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Monday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's another 24 hours to be grateful for, December is here, a new week and I have had a great day. It's now that time to slow down and fill you in on how my day has been including some of the trending stories that caught my eye. As always thank you for reading and let's get it done 💨.
So I had two major walks, starting off early with fast paced morning session. I brisk walked around the neighbourhood. At least today the sun was out on a beautiful Monday morning with an amazing fresh breeze🍃. Then I was back indoors for the usual household chores. later in the afternoon, I stopped by the shopping center then was back home for some cooking followed by the usual nap. In between I did check out some trending news and watched some world cup which I will share next. Finally I finished off the day with the slow paced evening walk in the cool evening breeze.
So what's been trending. Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept going 😹.
Up in Sudan a new agreement was signed by a coalition of parties and the military to establish a civilian govt. Not all agreed to this deal as protests went on 🙀.
Down in south Africa, the president's party ANC has agreed to back him as he fights impeachment brought on by the farmgate scandal.
Globally, Ukraine trending as Putin sent lots of missiles aimed at energy facilities 🙀. Fortunately Ukraine shot down close to 60 missiles.
Meanwhile, explosions rocked two Russian military bases at least 600 km from Ukraine border. Russia claiming that Ukraine sent the drones with an aim of destroying long range war planes😹.
Elsewhere in Mongolia, protesters stormed the government palace🙀. They demanded an end to corruption and a new parliament.
Let's finish off with some football shenanigans 😹. Japan vs Croatia was the first world cup game to go into penalties. Croatia managed to win sending Japan home.
In the second game, south Koreans saw dust as Brazil's Neymar and team were on top of things, wining with four goals to one.Am looking forward to tomorrow's games 😹
