Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Caturday 🐈 and a very warm welcome from Bob and yours truly😹. It's Bob's day to claw 🐾 into the blockchain, so give it up for him and other furry friends 😻. We are nearly done with November, hopefully you are having a nice day this far. As for me I have had a great day stepping it out and just about now I wanna fill you in on how it went and also share some of the trending stories. Thank you for reading and let's take it away 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood 🌲. Today was much warmer than yesterday so I made the most of it in the fresh morning air🍃. Then I was back indoors for a bit of resting before embarking on the little house chores around the house. Up and down and in between I kept watching the news for trending stories. Then later in the afternoon a quick stop at the mall for groceries. Next, I was back indoors sleeping for the usual refreshing afternoon nap💤. The evening came in quite swiftly, I was up, cooking and watching a bit of youtube. I watched parts of some of the world cup ⚽ matches that went on today. More of that later.
The sunset walk came as it was almost getting dark, as always slow paced enjoying the cool evening/night breeze. I finally made it back home safe and sound calling it a day.
So that was my day but lets finish with some of the trending stories.
Locally the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. In DRC the M23 rebels have conditionally accepted the ceasefire agreed upon by the mediators👋. Hopefully peace persists in that region.
Globally Ukraine trending as they had their memorial day. President Zelensky invited various EU leaders. The day is commemorated every 4th Saturday of November to remember those that died in the 1930's when the USSR was under Josef Stalin. People died of hunger from a man made famine😭.
Trending in Pakistan, former PM Imran Khan has called off the protest march from Lahore to Islamabad. This to avoid destruction and chaos. A wise decision as his supporters may have been killed. Remember last time he was shot in the leg.
However, his party will resign from all govt assemblies 🙀. Saying he will no longer be part of a corrupt system 😹.
Across the pond, US is to ease some oil sanctions on Venezuela after negotiations 👋. The negotiations between the opposition and government took place in Mexico city. The US has issued an expanded licence to Chevron Corp to resume activity, the world definitely needs that oil 💯.
Finally, let's finish up with some football shenanigans 😹. I was disappointed that Tunisia got beat by Australia earlier today 😭. Then Saudi Arabia was beaten by Poland, I watched some of it. Champions France have become the first team to make it into the last 16 after beating Denmark, I watched the last parts. Then just now I watched Argentina punish Mexico as they won with two goals👋. Seems like punishment from Saudi Arabia woke Messi up for today's game😹.
