Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. Just another ordinary day and the stepping continued unabated. I can't believe it's already the end of October 🙀, it's infact the last Sunday of October. As always I am truly happy and grateful for this day💯 and you should be too, trust me there are many who wanted to see this day but didn't so we are blessed. Thank you for being here yet again and before bedtime, let's quickly take a look at how my day went and also some of the trending stories. Here we go again, come on 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with the fast paced morning session. Thoroughly enjoyed the cool morning breeze 🍃 as I made my way around the neighborhood 🌲. Then I was back indoors for some rest and the daily household chores. A little bit of youtube and cooking then the afternoon saw me go out to the shopping centre for some fruits and veggies. Next came the refreshing nap💤. Then I woke up some time later in the evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and news, There was also some interesting and exciting football matches going on. I did finish off the day with the slow paced evening walk enjoying the cool evening breeze. Now let's quickly take a look what has been trending in the media streets.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going, politicians were busy attending church then yapping away. Celebrations were in order as Kenyans won both men's and women's marathon in Frankfurt, Germany earlier today.
Globally, India trending with a suspension bridge tragedy. This happened in the state of Gujarat when the bridge collapsed due to overloading, 81 people reportedly died 😭. My sincere condolences to the bereaved families. These crowds🙀, south Korea in mourning too after the tragedy there yesterday.
In Europe, the west had urged Russia to reverse Ukraine grain deal suspension so as to avert potential food shortages.
Elsewhere in the gulf, the GCC has condemned German minister's remarks on Qatar hosting the world cup, but I do agree with her, the modern day slave trade and suffering going on in that country is unprecedented. Fifa should have a criteria in vetting some of these countries 💯.
Close by in Lebanon, the president has left office amid political uncertainty. And parliament is yet to agree on his successor🙀.
Finally, across the pond in Brazil, people have been voting and polls just closed. Bolsonaro and Lula going head to head in a tense tightly contested election. May the best candidate win.
