Happy Caturday 🐈 and a very warm welcome from Bob and yours truly😹. It's Bob's day to claw 🐾 into the blockchain, so give it up for him and other furry friends 😻. As for me I have had a great day stepping it out and just about now I wanna fill you in on how it went and also share some of the trending stories. Thank you for reading and let's take it away 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood 🌲. Today was much warmer than yesterday so I made the most of it in the fresh morning air🍃. Then I was back indoors for a bit of resting before embarking on the little house chores around the house. Up and down and in between I kept watching the news for trending stories. Then later in the afternoon a quick stop at the mall for groceries. Next, I was back indoors sleeping for the usual refreshing afternoon nap💤. The evening came in quite swiftly, I was up, cooking and watching a bit of youtube. I noticed some interesting soccer ⚽ matches going on. The sunset walk came as it was almost getting dark, as always slow paced enjoying the cool evening/night breeze. I finally made it back home safe and sound calling it a day.
So that was my day but lets finish with some of the trending stories.
Locally, a rather quiet day except for the usual political shenanigans 😹.
Globally, Turkiye trending as 41miners who died in yesterday's coal mine explosion were laid to rest with president Erdogan in attendance 😭. My sincere condolences to the bereaved families 💯.
Over in Ukraine, Ukrainian soldiers continued their advance into Kherson 👋, taking back a number of villages. Meanwhile Russia dropped some bombs in some of those areas to slow down the Ukrainians. Also trending, Russian forces arrived in Belarus to form a joint force with their Belarusian counterparts, sparking fears that Belarus will join in the conflict with Ukraine. Belarus saying they are worried that Ukraine can invade them😹.
Elsewhere, in Tunisia widespread protests by different opposition parties against the sitting president who is accused of being undemocratic 🙀. There is also growing food and fuel shortages.
Trending in Iran, fire seen at Evin prison in Tehran and gunshots also heard 🙀. The popular prison is known for holding political prisoners.
Finally, China says it reserves the right to use force over Taiwan 😹. I hope they are not planning to start another mess like Putin has done. In this day and age I think wars should be a thing of the past especially with nuclear around. It should be diplomacy all the way💯.
