My Actifit Report Card: October 13 2022.....Throwback Thursday 👣💨🍃🙌👏💯🙏😇👼💞😴💤☕⛅🎼🎶👌✨🌠
Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Thursday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report 😊. It's almost mid month, I've had just another ordinary day stepping it out and as bedtime beckons, it's time to quickly take a look at how my day has been plus some of the trending stories I came across. As always thank you for reading and let's get started💨.
So I kicked off the day with some brisk walking 👣 and jogging around the neighbourhood 🌲. A cloudy day but with some beautiful morning breeze 🍃. I didn't walk for long then I was back indoors for some resting, a little bit of daily chores and catching up with the news. The next chance of walking came in the afternoon out to the shopping centre for some food. As always I squeezed in the afternoon nap later and woke up some time early evening. After some news and you tube, it was time for the slow paced sunset walk. I had a nice walk then was back indoors still watching news, reading a few stuff before bedtime. So now let's quickly take a look at a summary of what was trending.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept going😹. The main talk being the increased fuel and food prices. This new govt needs to do something. IMF at their annual meeting have forecasted a bleak economy in 2023.
Globally, Ukraine trending as Russia continued it's missile attacks in more than 40 towns🙀. Today Mykolaiv was the worst hit with deaths reported 😭. Meanwhile Ukrainian soldiers captured more land area in Kherson 👋.
Over in Russia, Putin warned of world war 3 if Ukraine joined NATO 🙀. He later met Turkish president on talks of pumping gas through Turkey and also exporting products through Turkish ports
Elsewhere in the middle east, after months of deadlock, Iraqi parliament finally appointed a new president 👋.
Across the pond in the US, the January 6 select committee has voted to subpoena former president Trump to testify 😹. Remember he was the one urging protesters, telling them they needed to fight hard, he emboldened them leading to unbelievable scenes of rowdy protesters breaking into capitol hill.
Finally, in crazy weather, floods inundated parts south east Nigeria displacing lots of people, damaging homes and farms🙀.
