TGIF 🍻🍷 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. Another 24 hours is going by really fast and as it draws to a close, I am grateful yet again 👏. Thank you for reading and let's quickly take a look at how my day has been including some of the trending stories. Come on 💨.
So as usual I kicked off with the fast paced morning session. A bit shorter this time but quite enjoyable given the fresh morning breeze 🍃.
Next, I was back indoors where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. Election campaigning still in high gear as we head towards the general elections..
Globally, Japan trending as former PM, Shinzo Abe was assassinated while giving a campaign speech 😢. A shocking event in a country with a low crime rate and tight gun control laws 😱. Across the pond in the US, Biden signed an executive order to protect abortion access👏. This to counter what he termed as an out of control supreme court 😹.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin is heading towards 22k on a mostly green day in the market. The bears 🐻 still have a tight grip 😹, keep hodling 💯.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day. Later in the afternoon I stopped by the shopping center for some cooking groceries. I came home 🏡 for the usual nap 💤. It was amazing and I woke up some time early evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news 😊.
Trending in the UK, after Boris Johnson's resignation, the search is on for a replacement. Former finance minister Rishi Sunak throwing his name in the hat 😹. Elsewhere in Indonesia at the G20 meeting, Russian FM walked out as his country was critised for the war in Ukraine. More political shenanigans as Nicaraguan dictator Ortega kicked out nuns of the mother Teresa order 😱.
Anyways as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. As always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃.
