Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Monday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's a new week and the stepping continued unabated. As always thank you for being here and let's quickly take a look at how my day has been plus some of the day's trending stories. Here we go again 💨.
So just like yesterday, it was an early start in the neighborhood . The fresh morning breeze 🍃 made my brisk walking 👣 and jogging quite enjoyable 💯.
By eleven o'clock, I was back indoors where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, a rather quiet day except for the usual political shenanigans 😹.
Globally, Ukraine still trending, today Russia blew up the last bridge into the city of Sievierdonetsk 😱. They have now asked the Ukrainian soldiers in there to surrender or die😬. It's gonna be a challenge evacuating the civilians who are there😢. Elsewhere in the UK, an appeal to stop deportation of asylum seekers to Rwanda was rejected. They were protests outside the court..
Over in crypto land, bitcoin kept bleeding, now at 23k. Quite a red day for stocks too😱. The bears 🐻 have invaded but do keep hodling as we watch out for the bottom.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day. Later in the afternoon I stopped by the shopping center for some cooking groceries.
Then I was back indoors where I had my usual nap. I woke up some time early evening feeling well rested 💯. I then continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Trending in the US, top aides of former president Trump have been testifying at the Jan 6th hearings. He was told several times that he had lost the election but he didn't want to listen 😹. Not sure if this is going to turn into some criminal hearing and charges on Trump. Elsewhere, in Iraq, more political shenanigans as as a major parliamentary block of 73 MPs aligned to Muktada Al Sadr resigned 😱. In crazy weather, flash floods in Ankara, Turkey following heavy rain ☔.
Anyways, as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. As always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃. I finally made it back home safe and sound as darkness fell.
