Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's been another wonderful day, the beginning of a new week as we continue pushing through June. As always here is a quick breakdown of how my day went including some of the trending stories I came across. Thank you for stopping by and let's take it away 💨.
So just like yesterday I kicked off with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood 🌲.The weather was perfect with a fresh cool breeze 🍃as I made my way around the neighborhood..
Next I was back indoors, where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going with election campaigning still in high gear.
Globally, Ukraine still trending with lots of shelling in the east around Sievierdonetsk. A former British army man who was helping with ukrainian soldiers was killed 😢. Russia claims to have destroyed a factory storing western supplied weapons. Elsewhere, in France the first round of legislative elections concluded today with a second round coming up next Sunday. It seems that president Macron will not get the majority he needs to easily pursue his agenda 😱.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin continued bleeding, fell from yesterday's 28 to 27k today. Let's see how this new week goes.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day including laundry.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the shopping center for some cooking groceries and then made it back home 🏡 for the usual nap 💤..
I woke up some time early evening feeling well rested 💯 and then continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Trending in the US, a group of bipartisan senators agreed on a framework for new legislation on gun control 👏. This after yesterday's marches with people calling for measures to stop guns falling into the wrong hands. Elsewhere, China's defense minister has warned of dire measures if Taiwan ever sought independence or seceding from Beijing 😱. The Taiwanese have always wanted to be free but China won't let them go 😹😢.
Anyways, as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. As always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃. It looked like it would rain but it didn't and I made it back home 🏡 safe and sound as darkness fell..
