Happy Thursday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's another 24 hours to be grateful for and I have had a great day. As always thank you for stopping by and hopefully your day has been great too. Time to quickly take a look at how my day has been and also share some of the trending stories. Let's get started 💨.
So just like yesterday, I had an early start with the fast paced morning session. Brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood 🌲. It was a beautiful sunny 🌞 morning as I made my way.
Then I was back indoors, where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, a rather quiet day except for the usual political shenanigans 😹. Campaigning for the upcoming elections in high gear.
Globally, Ukraine still trending, Russia continued their shelling in the east, they are getting aggressive aiming to capture Mariupol 😱. Still about Ukraine, in Warsaw, Poland, international donors have pledged about $ 6.5 billion to help Ukraine rebuild and re establish💯. Elsewhere regional elections in the UK, Sinn Fein set to make gains in Northern Ireland
Over in crypto land, bitcoin slumped back to 35k , stocks dumped too after yesterday's interest rate hike in the US. In Turkey the inflation rate is at its highest since 2002, cost of living has risen 70%.😱
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day. Some analysts remaining bullish 🐂 on btc.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the city centre 🌲 for a few errands. Walked around for a while before heading back home 🏡.
Next came the usual nap 💤. It was amazing and I got up some time early evening. Then I continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Trending in Israel, in the city of Elad, a stabbing attack has left 3 people dead and several injured 😢. Two attackers are on the run with a manhunt launched. Elsewhere in China, a story of survival as a woman was pulled out alive, out of the rubble of a building, 6 days after it collapsed 🙌.
Anyways, as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. As always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃.
