TGIF 🍻🍷 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. The last weekend of April is upon us and the stepping continued unabated. It's that time of day to share some of the trending stories and also how my day has been. As always many many thanks for stopping by and let's take it away 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off the day with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood 🌲.A beautiful sunny 🌞 morning as I made my way.
Next I was back indoors, where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. Today we had the requiem mass of the third president of Kenya, he will be buried tomorrow.
Globally, Ukraine still trending, a journalist among those killed in Kyiv shelling 😢. Meanwhile, dire conditions in Mariupol as over 100k civilians need urgent evacuation. Elsewhere in the UK, former tennis 🎾 star Boris Becker jailed for 2 years over concealing his assets to avoid taxes or pay less😱.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin still in its sideways game😹. Was at 40k yesterday, now back to 38k. A little boring there but just keep hodling 💯. Am happy that Actifit is now listed on coinmarket cap and coin gecko 👏🙌.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the shopping center for some cooking groceries and then got back home 🏡 for the usual nap 💤.
Nice nap and I woke up refreshed some time early evening. I then continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Trending, in Kabul,Afghanistan, another deranged individual detonated a bomb in a mosque during Friday prayers killing and wounding people 😢. The audacity, given its the holy month,wow. Elsewhere, crazy hot temperatures🌞 in India especially in New Delhi. They say it's the 2 nd hottest April in 72 years😱.
Anyways, as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. As always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃.
