Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Caturday 🐈 from Bob and yours truly 😹. You definitely know the drill on Saturdays 😻. My weekend is going great and hope yours too. Time to slow down and get ready for bed 💤. Before that let's quickly take a look at how my stepping went as well as share some of the trending stories. As always thank you for reading and let's take it away 💨.
So just like yesterday, it was an early start with lots of brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood 🌲. I definitely enjoyed the cool morning breeze 🍃.
Next I was back indoors, where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. They released the national high school exam results, I don't think they've ever done it on a Saturday, seemed strange 😵.
Globally, all about Ukraine, today the president addressed a press conference and insisted on talks with Putin aimed at ending the war. Meanwhile, the port city of Odesa was attacked for the first time 😱. Constant shelling in Mariupol has made evacuation of civilians close to impossible 😬. Elsewhere, across the pond in the US,more political shenanigans as Florida governor signed a bill stripping Disney world of its self governing authority and special tax status😵.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin still sideways at 39k. Nothing exciting going on, so keep hodling better days are ahead 💯.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the mall. Window shopped around for a while before heading back home 🏡.
Next came the usual nap 💤, and I got up some time early evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Also trending, a deadly catastrophe, as an explosion at an illegal oil refinery killed around 100 people in southern Nigeria 😢. Elsewhere, Israel closed the Gaza crossing following increased rocket 🚀 attacks from the strip 😱. In Argentina, farmers blocked roads in Buenos Aires protesting high export taxes on their produce. Did you know Argentina is the 2nd largest corn 🌽 exporter?
Anyways, as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. As always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃.In the pictures I caught Bob taking his walks as I was coming back indoors 😹.
